Our sites across the northeast are generating green energy each and every day. NuGen was founded with the core mission to improve the world around us. Our widgets visualize the day to day impact of our sites. Each widget is powered by our annual portfolio generation to accurately represent the power of our sites.
Through teamwork, our diverse relationships, and our strong connection to the local community, NuGen is focused on making a positive impact for the environment, society, and the future. We engage with our internal and external partners to make a successful, creative, and meaningful impact.
Bristol/Warren Education Foundation
“NuGen Capital and their founders have been an integral part of the success of the Bristol Warren Education Foundation from the very beginning. BWEF has been able to support excellence in public education since its founding in 2007 in large part because of the dedication of our local community business partners through event sponsorship and participation. Thank you NuGen Capital for your continued support and belief in our mission.” – Melissa Donahue, ViceChair, Communications Chairperson
Reading Across RI
“We believe connecting readers to timely books and current issues can inspire important discussions and bring communities together and we are so grateful to NuGen Capital for providing our Reading Across Rhode Island books to schools across the state and championing literature as a vehicle for social change.” – Kate Lentz Director, Rhode Island Center for the Book
Nourish Our Neighbors
“The Nourish Our Neighbors program was launched in April 2019 in response to the COVID pandemic. This initiative employs local food businesses to create healthy and nourishing prepared meals that are distributed at no charge to community members who are experiencing food insecurity. We received tremendous support from local foodie fans who wanted to be able to enjoy these delicious meals while also supporting the program and thus the “Buy One Give One” platform was born. NuGen was one of our First Buy One Give One corporate partners because they saw it as a triple bottom line investment of supporting their employees, supporting local food businesses and supporting our food insecure neighbors. Since April 2019 we have distributed more than 30,000 meals in our local community and are incredibly grateful to our community partners such as NuGen!” – Caitlin Mandel, Markets & Community Programs
