DANBURY, CT…June 13, 2011…Seaboard Solar, LLC of Danbury, CT, and NuGen Capital Management, LLC of Akron, OH, announced today that they have entered into an agreement with the North Jersey Development Group to deliver a 1.713 MW rooftop solar system for a warehouse and office complex at 350 Clark Drive in Mt. Olive. Seaboard Solar, a provider of customized energy solutions, indicated that when the project is in full operation, the advanced system will provide as much as 70% of the electricity needed by the 453,000 square foot complex.
According to Dave Thomas, Project Manager for Seaboard Solar, the system will be comprised of 7,290 solar panels encompassing 241,864 square feet of roof space. The panels will be installed by Solar Power Inc., of Roseland, NJ, one of the leading solar developers in the country. This complex, part of the Industrial Free Trade Zone, will utilize some of the most efficient panels currently available.
